Two things I don't do very often:
1. Cut off most of my hair
2. Ask for money
5 years ago, I decided to grow out my hair until it was long enough to donate to someone who needed it more than me. It took 5 whole years to grow out the bleach from top to bottom. I haven't had 'short' hair since I was a child, and while I have no doubt that it will look shocking, once it's been turned into a wig for a cancer patient, it may just give someone the confidence to go out in public with some element of 'normality.'
While I donate a part of me to the 'Beautiful Lengths' project, I'm asking for your support in helping another cause that's dear to me. I came across Puppy Tales Rescue & Rehoming Inc. 3 years ago when I was looking for a furry companion to adopt. Nala brings me so much love and joy every day - I know all you animal lovers can relate. You only need to spend a couple of minutes browsing through Puppy Tales Rescue & Rehoming Inc.'s Facebook page to see the amazing work they do and understand why they need our help. I've seen them rescue dogs and cats that many other large organisations would simply euthanise. They don't have the funding of a big organisation behind them, yet they don't give up on any dog or cat.
I would be truly grateful for any donation you can provide (big or small), as it will help to save some furry lives
