Campaign Story
Erlinda Felix is 54 years old, a widow, and a mother of 3. She was recently diagnosed with cervical cancer and has been undergoing treatment, medication, and hospitalization since August. She is a loving, dedicated, and hardworking single mother who has been raising her kids on her own for a long time. Ela, as her friends and family calls her, is currently living with her mother and siblings along with her children. Their current income is just enough to suffice their daily needs. Currently, she is being treated at the National Kidney Transplant and Institute for her kidney and chemotherapy.
Aside from her main illness, other organ complications were also seen such as pneumonia, myoma, and kidney problems. Because of this, she cannot continue her chemotherapy right away unless she will have a balanced laboratory result. Which means that every after each chemo session, she has to undergo a series of lab tests to make sure that her heart, kidney, and lungs are in prime condition to perform another session. These treatments are causing tons of money which makes it hard for her family to sustain her needs. Her family, though may still accommodate her current expenses, may not be able to push it in the long run.
I am her daughter, and I am humbly asking for your financial help to continue the treatments and medication of my mother until she is completely healed. She is scheduled to have four chemotherapy sessions which will be done weekly.
May God give you more blessings for sharing it with us.
Thank you very much.
