Beat leukemia with Karolyn

Hello! I’m karla from the Philippines! 🇵🇭

My friend’s mom was recently diagnosed with cancer. Although the insurance might or can cover most of the expenses, I am raising these funds also to help with their daily expenses.

My friend has been working so hard with two jobs and is financially tight, his mom is already a retiree and needs help to cover miscellaneous expenses for the treatment since he will start to take day offs on the days of the treatment (meaning he’ll have more deductions). This family is small but are great people in the community. Karolyn was a teacher, and my friend is also a teacher who’s been working almost 24 hrs in a public school for the kids.

Karolyn has been active in church and is described as a saint, and it is just heartbreaking that she has to go through this. I personally want to help them because I know how good they are and what they do for people and kids. Devoted their lives in public service and I believe that this time it is our turn to give back to them. It’s been so sad since the diagnosis, and still waiting what stage of cancer she is now. I will keep on posting and updating once I heard about it. And will update this page as the treatment goes on. They live in the US and I’m here in the Philippines. I badly want to help but I cannot as of this moment. So all I can do is to pray for them and help them through this.
