Bringing home Baileigh and Justice

Hello! Many of you know that Zachery and I fostered two little girls, Baileigh (7) and Justice (5) about 2 years ago and they have been in our lives ever since! For those of you who know us, you probably know how near and dear to our hearts they are!

Although the girls did return to live with their mother in May of 2014, we have continued to remain in their lives and we have gotten them for many weekends, family events and even holidays. Recently, their mother contacted us and told us that she can no longer care for them and that she wants Zach and I to adopt them. We are overwhelmed with emotions, feeling excited, nervous and also sad for the girls to be going through this confusing time. Their mother would like us to take them as soon as possible because of their living conditions so we are trying to get everything in order for them to come be with us in a few weeks.

Since we are getting everything together so soon, we are in desperate need of funds for the legal fees associated with proceeding with the adoption and we need your support! We are looking at attorney's fees, a home study, as well as the expenses of childcare and furnishing a house to have children full time. We are hoping to at least cover the legal aspects and would like to raise an estimated $6000.

We all have a long road ahead of us, but the lives of those two little girls are worth it and we look forward to watching them grow into who they were created to be!
