Bear Mimi & Simba vet bills

Hello Everyone,

From the streets of Bahrain to their forever homes, across the globe... the inspiring stories of my rescue fur babies that will make you believe in MIRACLES!

In 2019 I rescued Bear, Mimi and Simba. Found them on the street outside my house and what followed was medical expenses and other expenses for helping them recover and be adoptable. I love animals and I believe this is my calling, I do the best I can in every situation and mostly on my own entirely. Sometimes I need help when it gets beyond me and hence I am here

I found Bear smiling at me belly up with ticks the size of marbles. His cheerful persona even with starvation dehydration and so many ticks made me fall in love with him immediately x After 5 long months of recovery, rehabilitation, basic training to be with people and follow a routine etc. Bear was adopted in Vancouver finally

Mimi was dragging on her 2 front legs outside my house, I could not understand how she got there as I know almost all the strays in my vicinity. And a kitten with so much attitude and personality despite her handicap could not be missed. She will fall into your hands and purr away melting you from within. She is feisty and her disregard for her handicap tends to get her in pain with inflamed back joints. She is extremely playful as she should be at this age and this kid stayed with me all of 3 months before she was adopted in British Columbia, CA through some support from the local shelter here in Bahrain

Bear loves snow and helps his new mum with gardening when the snow is cleared. He goes for his long walks in the forest and is loved by everyone he meets. He gets upset when dad is traveling and is very protective of his new human brother and has gotten along just fine with Molly and they both wait for dad to come home from work everyday x

Mimi enjoys her picturesque car rides and has claimed the throne in the car right in the centre of the car with the best view x she is a diva and her mom calls her a princess who maintains her high standards and personality like Maggie Smith in Downton Abbey lol x Mimi accompanies her mum to work and gives the looks and stares to the other animals both at home and work x

Simba was starved and dehydrated for weeks before I found him. Because of the nasty dog fight he got into he was terrified and must have hid somewhere for weeks where he didn't find food and water and ended up eating plastic scraps which he found. Due to dehydration these got lodged in his tummy and became one big ball that was causing his kidneys to fail him. This kid almost died in my arms but he was such a fighter he made full recovery after 3 long months of surgery love medicines and syringe feeding. Now he loves spending time with me playing everyday, watching out of the window. Is still scared of dogs though. His confidence is growing and he is becoming social, not hiding as soon as he sees new people. Loves to hug, kiss and snuggle with me x He thinks he is a dog, he plays fetch and actually sits when you tell him to lol x

Now wouldn't you call these miracles of life? 8 months ago who would have imagined Bear and Mimi living their best lives all the way across the globe and Simba surviving his horrific dog fight and weeks of starvation and dehydration to grow up to be a handsome mama's boy xxxx

The medical bills for all three combined were high despite the clinics offering discounts etc. as they involved hospitalization for long durations, surgery in Simba's case and all vaccines and shots and neutering etc. Most of the bills were settled some by me and some by generous donors however, pending amounts still remain and need to be cleared ASAP.
