Balay Dalangpan is a registered charity in the Philippines set up to support disadvantaged children. One of its key goals is to support children by getting them back into mainstream education if they have dropped out, and to keep them in school if they are at risk of dropping out. These children, like all other children, deserve an education to give them the opportunity to make something of their lives. Right now Balay Dalangpan sg Kabataan is supporting 23 children who have re-entered school after previously being abused or used as child labour. They come from severely disadvantaged backgrounds, each with their own sad set of circumstances. It took a lot of hard work to get them back to school. These 23 children all require a very small amount of funding to cover basic transport and costs of school projects. Without these funds, they are in danger of dropping out of school again, so they need immediate help. If they do drop out, there is a real risk that they will be forced to return to full-time work, and their chance of an education may be lost forever.

With Php 65,000 (USD1,358) we will be able to cover all 23 children’s school costs until March 2018 (the end of the Philippines school year).
Please help these children stay in school and complete the current school year by donating now. What better Christmas gift is there than giving a child access to school? Any excess amount collected will be used for supporting children in the next school year. Thank you so much for your support.
