Campaign Story
My 31 year-old bestfriend, Jojo A. Popanes, underwent a brain surgery at St. Lukes Medical Hospital due to a condition known as brain arteriovenous malformation (AVM), a serious congenital vein disorder. The surgery was done to evacuate the hematoma, to arrest the bleeding and further damage in his brain. Jojo was in comatose for more than a month and has developed pneumonia during his stay at the the Neuro Critical Care Unit and has already been transferred to a room recently. But he is still being monitored 24/7 with continuous medical interventions for his complete recovery.
I and his family are desperately seeking for any financial help/assistance as the family's current financial status can no longer aid the hospital, medical and professional fees which currently has reached more than 2 million pesos. We are humbly asking for your help not only for my bestfriend's sake but for his 5 year-old daughter as Jojo is a single parent. Jojo has always been very hands on and responsible when it comes to taking care of his daughter. The pain that we feel everytime we see his daughter terribly breaks us down for she always asks about his father and how she longs for his Papa Jojo to come back home.
With this, we sincerely thank you from the bottom of our hearts. May God bless us all.
