I felt the urgency as my son Bernard approaches me with a quivering voice and misty eyes "I want to have a kidney transplant". I don't know what to do, but I prayed to God, “I want to have a kidney transplant”, he cried."

As a mother, it almost broke my heart. I can't bear to see my son who once dreamt big for our family to lift us up from the hardship of life is now pleading for his survival. I pitied him much which brought me this into writing to reach out to people, to ask for help from you.

It’s been six years had passed since his diagnosis hindered his plan to work abroad. His flight was canceled because he was admitted to the hospital 5 days before his schedule. Our excitement that my son will be looking for a greener pasture, the glimpse of hope that stirred in our hearts for a better life fades away. So he is, lost his job, lost his love affair, lost his self-confidence, what remained was a broken heart.

He was suffering from Chronic Kidney Disease stage 5 secondary to Glomerulonephritis. His dialysis treatment thrice a week was such a burden. Many had changed in his body and appearance, he lost weight and weakened.

The threat of many arising complications of CKD5 that may possibly consume his body makes him desperately long for an immediate response to address his health condition.

Bernard went through the online selling job before. We sold t-shirts for a cause and some other items/products to help his medications. But when the pandemic struck, our little earnings were gone. Our family suffered a lot from this worldwide attack of covid19.

A kidney transplant needs a lot of money, and we don't have it yet. It may seem impossible but God makes a way when there seems to be no way. He moves miraculously, maybe through you.

On the first step of the application for a kidney transplant, one of the requirements is a bank statement with at least a 200k deposit. The typing & cross-matching of the recipient & donor cannot proceed unless we have the show money of 200k. The laboratory procedures for the recipient & donor are expensive as well as the kidney transplant itself and the medications/maintenance after the operation.

May God touches your generous heart to be a channel of blessings for my son Bernard. Please help him to raise money for his operation, any amount any help from you will make a difference in my son's life.
