I am the wife of our head pastor, a leader in a church named United in Christ and I have seen my senior pastor's financial sacrifices finishing our church building and facilities. It's been 3 years since we started the constructions from the roof, then glass doors, flooring, and building another facility. Little by little the church is improving. Our weekly church offering does not suffice for the church operations alone so that it leaves our head pastor shouldering most of the construction expenses. He is a full-time government employee as he pastors in our church. He is near retirement age and has very little salary. I restlessly ask for donations on Facebook from friends and family but gains little success. I am starting this fundraiser to help lessen the financial burdens and stresses of my husband while constructing our church and our facilities. I do not solicit much before because I do not want to bother other people with my needs but this one is for the people of God (both present and the future.) God loves souls and we at United in Christ want to take care of these souls and we need your help building the church.

Currently, our project is the ceiling of the church building then the next ones will be the church's wooden sliding doors and windows so we can put 3 split-type air conditioners (all still needs funding.) We also need air conditioners for the freedom room with upper room where we hold our leadership training. This building was built to hold personal counselling and where other wounded soldiers of Christ may rest. We are also reconstructing our walls because they are about to fall. Lastly, we will build a coffee area with restrooms for churchgoers.

Our head pastor's vision is to create an inviting and pleasant atmosphere for people because our church's main goal is to bring souls to Jesus Christ. We learned that people are visual and people want quality. In one of our meetings our pastor asked us: "How can we encourage people to attend if what they see is uninviting?" to make us realize the importance of having a pleasant surrounding.

I created this fundraiser to bless our head pastor and to bless those who will help build our church (because the Lord rewards the cheerful giver). All the donations you will give will surely comeback to you thirty-fold, sixty-fold and a hundred-fold. Shalom!

2 Cor 9:6 But this I say, He which sows sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which sows bountifully shall reap also bountifully.

Hag 1:8 Go up to the mountain, and bring wood, and build the house; and I will take pleasure in it, and I will be glorified, saith the LORD.

We Need Your Help

Update posted by Nepomucena De Ocampo at 03:17 pm

Slowly, the coffee room and beauty booth are being built. We need help for the glasses and doors, for lights and furnitures. These rooms will be used for entertaining guest pastors/guests to boost morale. Let us bless the men and women of God.

UIC Building Update

Update posted by Nepomucena De Ocampo at 02:18 am

Currently, our head pastor still shoulders 99% of the expenses. Last night there were little pledges from 2 people from our church.
