Campaign Story
Help us get gifts to children across Malaysia this Christmas!
There is an overwhelming amount of orphanages, special youth homes, and refugee centres in Malaysia, all aimed at providing aid to children who are born into a life that is significantly less fortunate than you and I.
The number of children born into these lifestyles keep increasing significant each year. However, you can help improve and make a difference in their lives.
Last year, my team and I have taken the first step into changing the lives of these children within our reach in Selangor, Malaysia. We have paid visits, fundraising, donate and have even have fun with them!
One of our visits to a children's home whereby we fundraised from our local community to provide back-to-school kits.
Our little group photo after the visit! p/s: we all got a little dirty after an epic crafty session
December 2017: Our first action to be a Santa for 56 children at a refugee center.
They lit up and were hugging their gifts tightly after receiving them. Their smiles were one of the greatest outcome of our little Santa action.
All cheers and smiles and Christmas was made whole for them.
But wait, there's more! We paid a visit to an orang asli village to help hand out presents to over 120+ children. The joy of giving is truly one of the greatest gifts we can give to ourselves.
A wise person once said, "Every child has the potential to change the world. They just don't have the means like us". A dollar or two might not make a difference to you, but it could mean the world to them.
With approx. RM50, a child will be going to school, ready, excited, and prepared, for the rest of the year.
With our goal of RM 80,000 (USD 20,000), 1,600 children will walk into the year 2019 with a renewed motivation to change their lives.
