Be a Part of 10 Days Without Discrimination!

Hello, my name is Klarence and I'm from the Philippines. Out of 10,000 applicants all over the world, I was fortunate to be a selected and be a part of the 450 youth invited to participate in the International Students Festival in Trondheim (ISFIT) this coming February 2017 in Norway.

ISFIT is a festival endeavoring to be a platform for students across the globe to contribute to the world's social and political issues through multicultural dialogues and workshops; it's also the largest festival in the world, gathering students from more than 100 countries.

This upcoming festival's theme is Discrimination, why? bringing to light the complexities & impacts of discrimination to our path towards progress. In this age of innovation and information, how do we eradicate the unnecessary divide which hinders our nations from achieving an all-inclusive growth?

I think the youth plays a significant role as leaders of today and tomorrow in addressing these issues we face today. Being a part of ISFIT would not only help me, but also all of us, to enable and empower each of us who have been victimized by the destructive powers of discrimination, one way or another.

The ISFiT organizers, thankfully, have managed to provide food, accommodation and local transport for the participants through the support from their sponsors and government. This leaves me the travel expenses. Unfortunately, the flight to Norway still amounts to at least 600 USD. It would definitely be difficult for me and my family to support me to participate in this event. However, I wouldn't want the financial burden be that which hinders me from this opportunity to contribute in this advocacy against discrimination. Hence, I am raising half of the total amount, $300, online to help me get to Norway this February.

And so I ask and invite you to be a part of 10 days without discrimination through helping me raise sufficient funds in order to get to Trondheim. Through your help, together, we could pave way, not only in a number of days, but towards a future without discrimination.

Every donation I will receive is highly appreciated! In order to express my gratitude to your kindness and generosity, I will be sending postcards of various kinds! And they wouldn't be your ordinary postcards because I'll make sure they'll have beautiful and personalized messages!
