GRANDMA WITH AN ENLARGED HEART

Life is a journey and not a destination

"A fighter, courageous and positive individual full of hope to continue on her journey. "....at 78 years old, I am often described with these words by friends and relatives. They have witnessed my fight against life's difficulties brought about by my heart enlargement, hyperthyroidism and congestive heart failure since I was 18 and now having Pituitary gland tumor , Pneumonia, left upper lobe, Pleural Effusion, left and Thoracic Spine Dextroscoliosis.

The corners of Intensive Care Unit of the St. Joseph Hospital in Manapla , Negros Occidental was a witnessed to my 7-month everyday struggle fighting for my life at the age of 34 , ( year 1974 ). Having the diagnosis of Congestive Heart Failure and have died at one certain point during my hospitalization , I'd say that I still have a mission to accomplish when God put me back to life after hours of being clinically dead. After that significant event , my faith became stronger as what happened to me can be considered my second life, a miracle.

MY LIFE IS STILL BLESSED, AND I AM A LIVING TESTIMONY OF GOD'S GOODNESS.
