BDL Educational Minecraft Server

My friend Jordan, then 15 and like all others, was super obsessed with Minecraft. He goes around Singapore taking architectural photos, which led to his goal of building a virtual Singapore and that was when he founded BDL Minecraft Server.


His ultimate vision was for the server to be used as an educational tool and for Singapore to incorporate game-based learning into classrooms. He also talks about how he LOVES to make history come alive for the future generations by retaining past monuments/skyscrapers as Singapore is an ever evolving city.


He passed away early this Jan and my group of friends and I would like to honor him by fulfilling his wish of having an actual to scale city of Singapore by hosting a new BDL Minecraft Server sharing the same vision. We are looking to use our in-game map as an educational package to teach the younger generations of Singapore's history, and in a fun way! But that will not be all, we would love if youths would voluntarily contribute to this project, just as we shared Jordan's dream!

With your help, we can cover the server's half-yearly fee:
1. Hosting cost - $50 x 6 months

2. Server web fees and design (using Weebly/Enjin) - $30 x 6 months

3. Advertising fees - $200 budget

4. Contest prizes - Remaining budget
