Bayshore Christian Ministries ICL 2012

Bayshore Christian Ministries specifically focuses on grades 1-12 and they focus on spiritual growth, life skills, and leadership development. 

As an intern, I will work with a small group of students during their six-week summer program. Each day, we will focus on academic skill building and bringing the students up to grade level in reading, writing and math. In addition, we will provide the students exposure to other "fun" activities through creative arts and special interest workshops. As an intern, I will not only be a teacher, but a mentor, leader and role model for these students. I am very much looking forward to getting to know my small grop of students! Throughout the summer I will also be learning about urban issues and God's heart for the poor.

I will be there for two months and trusting that God will provide $400 to take care of my living expenses while I am there. All additional money raised will go towards buying my plane ticket back. The money needs to go directly to me and will be received safely through PayPal.
