Battling For Hope

I developed skin conditions at the age of 10 but it worsened during my teens.My whole body flare up from time to time,and sometimes it will swollen all over my body.I’m 18 now,it has been 8 years of going to hospitals/skin centres back to back,i have try traditionals treatments,natural remedies,which was recommend to me and i have also stopped using steroids long time ago,but it was still the same.As i get older i get to know that i have over-reactive immune system (Immune System Disorders) So anything that triggered inside or outside my body, the immune system responds by producing inflammation.So example if this and that treatments/medicines work for you,it may not work for me sadly.Having a condition that can be hugely restrictive makes me feel depressed at a varying levels, i have struggled with seeing any light at the end of the tunnel

I endured awful comments from schoolmates and even family/cousins who thought my condition was contagious.I would cried in my shower because the water stings my wounds.

I grew up in a single parent household, My dad is never around at any point of time in my life. My mom has spent a boatload of time, energy, & money trying to deal with my condition. The responsibility of paying daily expenditures and medical expenses all rests on my mother’s shoulders alone and i know it’s mentally and physically exhausting for her.That’s why i’m using this platform to help her with financial supports for long term run as she is medically unfit to work anymore

Many people even my doctors used to recommend me to seek for a cure in other countries as they have heard many good reviews.I am well aware that overseas treatments is so expensive & i will never be able to afford that kind of money so i kind of just accept that my condition will never be cured and i will just have to endure with this cycle over and over again.

But if god permits and with your generous help,I hope one day i will have a chance to go for overseas treatment as i’m really insurecure about my scars
