Campaign Story
I met Malou months ago at our church where she also volunteered for a youth conference. She was able to touch my heart when she shared her testimony with me as to how God had delivered her from the sarcoma (a rare type of cancer) that was found on her thigh. Unfortunately, just weeks ago, this illness recurred. And this time, it's on her head and is inoperable and has started to spread out.
Since doctors had declared her terminally ill and incurable, she is now resting at their home taking up alternative meds that help alleviate her outrageous pain and by God's grace, bring healing to her. She is also breathing now through an oxygen tank.
Malou is a single parent and a mother to 5 children. She used to be in the real estate business but given her condition, is unable to work and produce money for her medical needs.
Though I have only known her for months, I can see how beautiful her heart is, how it yearns to continue to serve the Lord even in her condition. The joy and peace of the Lord continues to shine in her life amidst her physical pain.
I hope and pray you will be touched and share some of your blessings to her. Even a small amount will go a long way. Thank you and God bless.

Update on Malou
Update posted by Fati Zabat at 12:32 pmTwo weeks after I saw Malou and posted this, her body has greatly deteriorated. She totally relies on oxygen now and her lump has scattered all the way to her back. She is non-responsive most of the time and has lost the strength to talk. The old, funny and bubbly. . . . .
