Battle with Stage 4 Cancer

Last year, during the 3rd week of September, our mom, Elisa Mojado, 80 years old had a successful hip replacement surgery. I was lucky enough to be introduced to Gogetfunding by a friend from which we were able to raise part of the funds to purchase the titanium steel hip and the surgery.

However, it was also during that time that her doctors confirmed that mom had Stage 4 cancer affecting her kidney, lungs and spleen.

The doctors also said that it was already at an advanced stage but they could not really determine how long still mom had to go.

Since then, mom has been in and out of the hospital 5 times, latest of which is right now as I am writing this.

Mom has been in the hospital for almost 2 weeks now and based on doctors advise has been receiving palliative care However, just this morning, mom's blood pressure and oxygen have been going down and doctor has advised to call the immediate family to spend time with her already.

To date, our hospital bill has grown to more than 350k, and because of the expenses of going in and out of the hospital the past 13 months, we do not really have the excess funds anymore to cover for the entire bill of what we anticipate to be around 450k. We have approached government agencies and were told we might get approved for a maximum of 20k.

That is why we seek the help of generous individuals or groups /organizations who can donate any amount from the heart to raise the funds we still lack for the hospital expenses and possibly her funeral.
