Battle of a Hero: The Conquering Stage

We started this campaign to fight alongside my father in his battle against Polycystic liver and kidney.

Nolasco Ballera Acuyong, 54 years old, was diagnosed with Polycystic liver and kidney last November 2018 and had to maintain his physical health.

Last March 23, however, he had a severe dizziness and numbing of his both legs and was rushed in Capiz Emmanuel Hospital due to blood clotting in his brain that caused his stroke. He was rushed at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the hospital and his left part of the body was totally paralyzed. The doctor also informed us that his blood level is fluctuating due to his high creatinine but it would not return to normal because of another complication in his liver and kidney. The result of the CT Scan were all bad news.

Due to his failing health condition, he needed to stay in the ICU because of the sensitivity of his situation. His left side of the body started to swell because of the liquid that cannot flow leading the doctors to advise another procedure which is dialysis.

It has almost been a week since he was rushed to the hospital, and he stayed in Capiz Emmanuel Hospital to battle his illness. We saw how he suffered, (most especially during his critical times) but at the same time, his will to fight.

Papa has been saved from the verge of death twice already, it made us realize that as a family we should also keep our spirit and faith strong and trust that the Lord will heal him. Although we are financially struggling right now we believe that our financial needs will be met and that when papa is well again, we can also pay forward.

We are humbly knocking on your kind hearts to help save papa. Any amount will be deeply appreciated, it will greatly help us with his continued treatment and medication for his Polycystic Liver and Kidney, hypertension and internal Complications. The doctor recommended that he should undergo continued series of testings but the treatment, medication and laboratory tests will cost a lot. Though we do not want to give up easily, and as papa has always provided for us, and took good care of us when we were sick, we will also find every means in order to lessen the pain that he is suffering right now.
