Basketball Club Development in Zambia

Dolphins Basketball Club is a female basketball club based in Lusaka Zambia. The club does not have any sponsor and is currently reliant on donations from well wishes. The club is now 2 years old in the Midlands Basketball Association under the Zambia Basketball Federation. The club has a total of 18 players in the age range of 17 - 30 years. Since its inception, the club has won a 3x3 championship, Midlands Basketball Association league 3rd place, Zambia International Basketball Tournament runner up. Over 80 percent of the members of the club are not working and are in a vulnerable state. We try to support them in the best way we can as management, keep them always from engaging themselves in illicitly activities by keeping them busy in trainings and games.

This fundraising campaign is meant to raise funds to sustain the operations of the club i.e. jerseys, basketballs, sneakers, game fees, hiring training venues, water and food during games and allowances for the players.
