Barber School on Wheels

Helping educate South Africans from all walks of life, enabling them to earn and provide for their families. A work readiness program that instills the fundamentals to enable the individual to excute the function of a barber, rendering them employable and skilled, either for employment or even entrepreneurship. With an unemployment rate of close onto 32%, during these unprecedented times, people need enablement more than "hand me downs", let work together to give them the skills to earn and guide themselves to financial stability. Our program will entail the fundamentals of Barbering and Grooming as well as the soft skills required for them to enter the realms of society with all the tools to forge their way.

We have managed to secure the equipment which will be issued to the Barbers that pass the program and certified by our facilitators. Our only requirement that needs intervention, is the Barber School Bus.

This Bus will be modified and designed to be a Mobile Barber Studio, allowing us to travel the region and inside the locations to aggregate the talent for sign up and training. The bus will remain at site for duration of the Boot Camp, simulating the full work experience. It will be fully kitted out with plumbing, electricity and workstations to ensure the learnings can be implemented and adequetly assessed.
