Baraka Children’s Home

Baraka Children's Home is a non-profit organisation in the heart of Pretoria. We saw the need for a care centre in the CBD as there are no other orphanages or places of safety for abandon children in the capital. We are a Christian faith-based organization that believes we can break the cycle of poverty by giving every child an opportunity.

There are 19 children in our care, we are also a temporary placement facility that social workers and the police depend on for emergencies. We have come a far road since 2016 and have recently been blessed with a house in Sunnyside but we still have a far way to go. Any assistance, big or small would be greatly appreciated! We hope to expand to be able to help more children permanently and on ad-hoc bases.
