Hello everyone!
A marine turtle like the Pawikan serves its purpose in maintaining ecological balance in the sea water as a whole. This is the reason why a lot of effort to save this endangered species is happening in many parts of the world, particularly in the Philippines, specifically here in Morong, Bataan.
I would be very grateful for any donations no matter how small, and I would like to add that this sum of money will be going to the organization to aid the needs and to improve our Hatchery etc. A big THANK YOU to anyone who donates!
A bit about BANTAY SAGIP PAWIKAN SITIO FUERTE
Sitio Fuerte is a place in Barangay poblacion, Morong bataan, who manage and conserved Pawikan or Marine turtle since 1995 up to present. We, the volunteers of BANTAY-SAGIP PAWIKAN SITIO FUERTE who manage the Pawikan Hatchery in Fuerte would like to report that for the period 1995 up to present, around 100,000 (One hundred thousand) hatchlings were released from this hatchery. We are properly trained to manage this hatchery with the motivation and intention to preserve this endangered species.
