Balls to Cancer – Running Team – Couch Potato to Bolton Marathon!

Update posted by Phillip Newberry On Nov 08, 2019

Hello

So our first run is almost upon us just over a week to go before we tackle the Blackburn 10K. This is the first time this course has been run starting and finishing at ewood park. it looks quite flat on the route but we shall see.

I have updated below a list of the runs we are doing and our current runners.

We have been out training on some sections of the Bolton Marathon course on Sunday mornings aswell as squeezing in a few Bolton parkruns and general meet ups with smaller groups. It's been lots of fun for me and pleasing to see the progress of the team who some of which only started out running this summer!

We are making progress with our runnig top design so we can fly the flag for balls to cancer & Bolton Hospice.

If you wish to be a part of our runnig team for this fantastic cause please contact myself or one of our team and we will welcome you with open arms. our runners are all at different levels but we will support you with training at whatever level your at.

The season has changed now so training will prabably quiet down a little bit towards xmas but we will pick it up again in January ready for the Blackpool Half marathon in February.

Please donate for Bolton Hospice!

Thank you
