PLEASE REMEMBER BALI!

Before the Coronavirus pandemic Solemen Indonesia's Outreach Programmes were being supported with donations from private corporate donations as well as by partnering with small businesses and social organisations in Bali and Australia. But due to the severe impact of the present pandemic on our partners' revenues, Solemen’s funding has nosedived by 90%.

Here in Bali, many have lost jobs, livelihoods have disappeared, and support systems are now stressed to breaking point. Already people are going hungry and desperation has made its entrance in many households. Many will not be able to survive. During this time of crisis, the poor and vulnerable suffer the most. Demand for our service is increasing and the costs of providing these services are skyrocketing.

HELP US FEED A FAMILY OF FOUR

1 day $5.00 AUD

7 days $ 35.00 AUD

30 days (one month) $150.00 AUD

90 days (three months) $450.00 AUD

other amount AUD …….totally up to you

Our comprehensive pack for a balanced diet includes:

  • Staples such as rice, dried beans and oil
  • Weekly deliveries of fresh produce
  • Quality nutritional supplements

We believe they deserve to be treated with dignity and respect so we provide our SoleBuddies with a balanced diet, not subsistence rations. Our belief is that unless we ensure our SoleBuddies and their families are able to thrive, then our work addressing their sometimes complex medical problems is likely to be thwarted and all our good work undone.

Why support Solemen?

Our Outreach Programme cares for over 2400 people in Bali, those suffering from acute medical conditions including patients with mental health issues (86% of them are children, the most vulnerable segment of the population). Solemen's outreach work makes a huge difference to the lives of Bali’s destitute, seriously ill and malnourished people who fall through the cracks, those living in extreme poverty or desperate circumstances and with no easy access to medical care. Helping the disadvantaged in Bali, Solemen is a registered charity, has been endorsed by the Balinese Government and has been in operation since 2011.

Your kind contribution will always be remembered by the people of Bali and at Yayasan Solemen.

Kindest Regards,

Robert Epstone
