Balinese Children Volunteer

Hello everyone, me and my friend Anna are going to Bali in March for 2 months taking part in a volunteering programme to teach less fortunate children in schools between 1-8 years old.

The charity organisation we are using is PlanMyGapYear which provides financial assistance and supports us through our voulenteering projects.

In Bali, it can be difficult for families, particularly those in the relentless farming and fishing industries, to afford a high standard of care or education for their children. We are therefore supporting local childcare centres, complementing the work of local staff members to ensure that these children receive the attention and support that they deserve.

Most of this trip is already paid for, however, if there is any small donations that you could help, which would go towards the project, I would really appreciate it. I have always wanted to do something like this and thought it would be the perfect time on my gap year. I am so excited to learn about the culture and lifestyle in Bali along with making sure that these children receive a better quality of life.
