I am a high school graduate. I completed my matric last year and obtained a bachelor's pass. I am going to be doing my accounting degree but I also love art. I am not a professional artist but I love t-shirts and design. This campaign will help me acquire a computerised embroidery/sewing machine. I would also like to launch a website. The funds will also go towards me registering my company. I have big plans for @bald_BANdiT designs and I would really love to get it off the ground. Even though I'm starting with t-shirts, as they are the most affordable to me at the moment, I will also be providing hoodies, sweaters, cycle shorts and track pants as time goes on. Youth unemployment is a big problem in South Africa. I recently helped out a friend write a CV. One of the things I would like to do is to recruit some of my fellow youths to work with me... but that's a story for another day. I hope you find it in your hearts (and pockets) to help me get my business started. I do not have enough money to offer incentives and rewards but I am willing to give donors t-shirts as a small token of appreciation... I also wouldn't mind giving donors customised clothing items everytime I launch a new range or line. But I honestly would love to get my company off the ground, not just for me, but also for my parents who have been supporting and encouraging me. During my final year of high school I made some bad decisions which led to me not being able to apply for bursaries on time. This resulted in my parents having to pay for my tertiary education from their own pocket. I understand that there is competition and well established brands already but I have a vision and an execution in mind. Please help me achieve my dream. I am not looking to be a trend that is known and popular for a onth. I am looking to be an acquired taste that sticks throughout.
