My name is Yassir, I'm 25 years old and I conduct a thesis in Artificial Intelligence in Morocco. During my first year, my college financed my studies with 100$/month, which is just a symbolic amount of money. I got lucky to have a job this same year at Capgemini in Casablanca, hoping that this will make me finance my studies and get independent. My work is good, but time consuming, especially that I spend 5 hours daily commuting and 9 hours working for 8 to 6 of the evening, and not having a chance to save some precious hours to work on my Phd. The only solution that can make me balance my work/studies efficiently is buying an affordable car to commute and save some hours to meet my mentor and keep myself updated about my Phd studies.

This campaign is a call for supporting me buying a used car, as little as 4000$ to have the chance to be able to manage my time wisely and support myself to continue my Phd in 3-4 years. I can afford a car by myself, but it would take me 3 years to raise at tops 3000$, considering some family problems.

This is not a call for charity, this a call for support. Supporting an enthusiastic Phd student that wants to get his Phd and improve his life choices.

PS : if by any circumstance I had to choose between work and my Phd, I'd go for my Phd. But since I support my family financially since I worked this year, it would make it harder for me to cut my work and live for my Phd. I'm a smart person and having people around to help would give me a huge push.
