Bakkie for business

I am the proud mom of 5 beautiful kids and wife to an amazing husband. I earned my degree and held a management position. We lived a normal life. Then I got retrenched. Despite my degree and experience, I wasn't able to find another job. I tried various things to generate an income from home but nothing worked out. Eventually I found it: I hire out soft play toys for kiddies parties. And my business is successful, as far as bookings goes. We still had my husband's fixed income, too, until he got retrenched last year. He, too, has not been able to find work again, despite over 20 years experience in his field.

We are currently struggling to keep afloat. We have cut our expenses to the bone. And, due to our financial crises, we have not been able to keep up to date with our creditors. So, we have been blacklisted on the credit bureau. I can't buy clothes for my family - we get donations from good-hearted strangers, and other family members. But, we are blessed with all that money cannot buy. And for this we are thankful beyond measure!

My business is our main source of income. Although not a lot, it has provided enough for us to buy food, keep the house and pay our electricity. Up until recently, that is.

We live in a poor community. Most of my bookings for the toys are 60+ kms from where we live, because that is the more affluent areas. This means transport costs. We had a vehicle that was strong enough to tow the trailer with the toys at an acceptable fuel consumption, but that vehicle burnt out due to an electrical failure (according to the investigation done by the Insurance company).

We have very old, 1980 VW kombi. For about 2 months after the other vehicle burnt out, we used the kombi. Unfortunately, it's head gasket blew and we have spent every cent we could on getting it fixed, but everything is a dead end, just requiring more and more money, to get it to run.

I don't have any vehicle to do my business with. I don't know what to do.

A 1-tonner with good fuel consumption will solve this problem. Like a Kia truck, or a Hyundai. This is my goal. To be able to buy a 1-ton truck for my business (like the one in the photo), so that I can deliver the soft toys to kiddies parties and make the income to sustain my family. I would appreciate every donation towards reaching this goal to buy the truck for ourselves, but I have to add that should someone find it in their hearts to donate a truck, that will be appreciated from the bottom of our hearts!

The photos show some of the sets we have available for hire. The kiddies absolutely LOVE playing on it! And it is such a joy to see the kids having fun at their parties. I enjoy what I do, I love my business. Your donation will help me to generate an income, so that I can take care of my family.

We are on the verge of losing our house, as we have not been able to keep up with payments, due to the business standing still now.
