Help me study in the Baking and Pastry Program with ICE NY

Sweets/Desserts are a universal language. I have never had much of a sweet tooth until I started tasting desserts made with the freshest of ingredients. They simply took my breath away. I have always felt there is a lack of mini (delicious!) treats made with the best quality ingredients and free of chemicals. Wouldn't it be amazing to have them guilt free? Knowing where those ingredients came from? Knowing no artificial ingredients have been used? Wouldn't it be great to just be able to pop one in your mouth and feel the out of this world satisfaction? Follow my journey as I strive to achieve all that I have just said. Bring to you beautiful desserts....

Hi amazing world! I come from a small country called Bangladesh. A country that has some amazing history, the longest unbroken beach on earth and largest mangrove forest called Sundarbans. Unfortunately this country is also very new in world politics and just existing as an independant country which makes it not so great in showcasing it's great resources. I would love to bring forth a very small portion of what Bangladesh has to offer. It's variety of desserts or what we call 'Mishti' in Bengali. They can make your day and satisfy your sweet tooth in an instant. No one has so far presented this side in a way that would take your breath away.

While I know how to make them I lack the techniques of baking and pastry making. If I could get the education behind food science and be able to put together ingredients in an instant I would be able to produce some amazing desserts. It all starts with learning how to do basic baking. Which is why bread making, souffles and cakes attract me so much. My idea is to create a fusion to put the two world's together. In my 30 years of life I have studied and worked in areas where others thought I should be in. Parisa you are such an amazing student study Finance, be a doctor, be a teacher, never step out of the traditional lines. And I have followed them but the more I age the more I realize my interests lie elsewhere. It's now or never to study what I want to and execute my dream. To prove that if people follow their passion and what they believe in they succeed.

I need your help today in fulfilling my dream. For the past 2 years I have suffered immensely both in terms of my job and my health. Every day has been a day wasted for me because I couldn't dedicate myself to learning what I would love to learn. I have worked to save as much as I could after a major surgery and paying some major medical bills. So far I have been able to save half of the tuition to go to the Institute of Culinary Education. Even though I could have taken a student loan I have avoided doing that since I needed to pay medical bills and would love to be debt free for as long as I can. Not be a burden to anyone or the country but be independant. I dream of going to the Institute of Culinary Education which is a 10 month program. I truly hope that you will support my cause and I will be able to bring the world a unique Bangladeshi twist to centuries old desserts. In return I hope to continue baking and sharing my creations with my donors.

I would like to open a bake shop consisting only of unique desserts that would be freshly made. I intend to only use the freshest of ingredients because great quality ingredients make great food. I also want to cater to the needy. Every month I want to ensure that I provide a cake or cupcakes to orphans and children without a home completely free of charge. It could be for a birthday or it could be just as a treat. There will be no changes in the ingredients. After all they are the ones in most need of celebration and joy and the very best quality of food. This is my pledge and my word. I hope you all stand by my cause as I keep updating this campaign with more pictures and more of what I am trying to do.
