Bake for a cause

I just need about $500 for equipment to help start my small baking project. I am 60 years old and semi-retired and am looking to find something productive to do. I plan to produce cookies pastries and distribute them in nearby schools and outlets. As the amount implies, I just want to start small and do all the work initially myself and maybe figure out the prospects for expansion from there. I was hoping any help I might receive could be considered as a small donation to charity - poor/disadvantaged Filipino children - for which I would be glad to put up at least an equal amount of my own in the form of finished products when things get going. While I would probably be able to do it on my own in a few more months time, I just would appreciate some help on the initial capital so I can start before the Christmas season and maybe help a few kids have a merrier Christmas.
