Friends, loved ones, and strangers of the internet:
My friend Baillee had an unexpected visit to the hospital this week. The trip was in response to symptoms that originally appeared to point to early onset appendicitis - a condition that would have been serious enough on its own - but actually ended up revealing 2 significant cysts, one on each ovary. The doctor has made it clear that due to the size of these cysts (8 cm on the right and 6 cm on the left), surgery is not only required, but must not be put off for long because the risk of rupture could bring with it the risk of losing one or both ovaries or sever infertility issues. Understandably, this news alone is a lot to take in. But on top of that, there is the looming thought of the medical bills in Baillee's future.
Those of us who know Baillee know that she is strong and can make it through this stressful time even stronger! But we also know that it can take a village to get through such things. I want to invite you to help me lift some of this unexpected financial burden that lies before Baillee by donating any amount you can. No donation is too small. All of our ''little bits'' can add up to a huge blessing for this sweet lady!
Check back here for updates throughout the campaign and please share this page with your friends so people all over have the opportunity to ''acyst'' Baillee! Thank you all for your consideration, thoughts, prayers, and any donations you are able to make.
Note: The target amount for this campaign will be enough to cover the surgery deposit. There will be other medical bills for this procedure than that such as the bills for anesthesia and the hospital visit, so if any overfunding occurs, additional funds will be put toward those things.
