We have spent the last few months visiting the setts in our area of the cull zone. Now with a good picture of what we need to protect we are heading into this year's cull with a clear objective..to protect every single badger we can. As of yet we don't have an idea of target numbers of badgers the government wants to murder, but we will be there and will endeavour to protect every badger. With long dark nights in Somerset we need lots of batteries for our torches, we want to invest in some rechargeable packs to save money. We will also be driving through the night and day and as ever will be draining the fuel tank on a regular basis. So once more we turn to you all and ask for help! Please help us in the fight to protect our wildlife. If we received just £1 from a quarter of the 'likes' on our page we would have enough to be able to see out the cull with diesel and funds to buy batteries comfortably. Anything you can offer is most gratefully received and if you aren't able to contribute then please consider sharing our fundraiser. Once again, together, Devon Hunt Sabs and you, are working to save our wildlife.

  • By funding sabs you endorse the illegal activity which they conduct. Badger cull, they spend all their time trying to stop or hinder the cull. This is a legal activity, regardless of your view it is an offence to obstruct a legal activity. Straying off footpaths trespass, hanging around on a foot path to obstruct a lawful activity Again illegal. While out in the cull zones these people stumble across pheasant pens, they have been smashing them up destroying feeders, drinkers and shelters. Leaving 8 week old birds to suffer as they thought the drinker was a snare! animal cruelty !! Tearing down fences, leaving livestock to wonder and put them in harms way. If this is what they want them to do they should fund themselves.
