Campaign Story
Michael Allaway suffers from severe Emphysema and lives on the 6th floor in an apartment block in Pretoria.
During frequent power outages in South Africa Michael is stuck inside his apartment as the lift has no battery backup and due to the breathing condition, which Michael suffers, is not able to walk the 6 floors worth of stairs to exit his apartment.
To compound an already bad situation Michel is not able to afford a power solution in his apartment and as a result is trapped inside and without any power to run lights and TV Etc.
This funding aims to raise a small amount to purchase an entry lever inverter and battery power solution for Michael to use.
