Since 2009 I have run a business called back2cash.co.uk on a part-time basis. The concept of the business was simple - I would buy used items and then resell them online for a profit. The main items I was purchasing was CDs, DVDs, Blu-rays and Video Games. These were purchased directly from consumers. If you have ever sold your CDs, DVDs, Blu-rays or Games online you'll be able to relate to this business format. I have stopped doing this business because I wanted to create a system that was fairer to the consumer. An example would be a DVD that you were offered £2-£3 from a buying company for the same DVD that is currently selling on Amazon for £10. My concept would pay he consumer more like £7 for the same DVD. If you vist my website and see the example websites on there you can get a price for any DVD and see the comparison on Amazon for the same DVD - this is were these companies are selling your DVDs, etc. My concept would simply involve a processing fee of each item handled. The processing fee would be £1 per unit (DVD, CDs, Blu-rays & Games). This doesn't matter if your DVD is worth £5, £10, £15 or more - the processing fee remains the same. Your donation would enable me to get a website professionally built so sellers can sell their items and be able to track their sales with an account. Over the last couple of years companies have popped up on the internet offering to buy your stuff because it is incredibly profitable. The only advantage to the consumer with this kind of website is to get rid of unwanted stuff fast. This is our opportunity to fight back against these greedy companies by giving consumers the money they deserve.
