DEADLINE EXTENDED UNTIL 30 SEPTEMBER
Back to school supplies for Human Service Trust Orphanage Home
A message from Micheal Orleans, Co-Founder of the Torch Foundation, a registered charity in Cape Coast, Ghana
Is a great occasion and a season to be a blessing to improvised children of Human service trust orphanage home in Cape Coast Ghana.
My mentor Dr. Tom Arcaro, seasoned social professor and a community builder, as part of his birthday celebration had the desire to send food supplies and books and other educational needs to Human Service Trust Orphanage Home in Cape Coast, Ghana, West Africa. To cater for them and support their educational needs as we approach new academic year, school children are to purchase new books and educational
supplies. Evert school year securing these supplies has been a great burden to the founder of this center, a 75 year old Auntie Nancy, a pensioner who uses her extra pension funds to cater to these vulnerable children, and she is solely depend on the benevolence of the society.
Family and friends, as you have also supported our programs in the past, let us come together and show some love to these children by supplying them with food and their education needs so that they can be feed whilst going back to school.
We are constructing a web site for the Torch Foundation now that will have our official documentation and mission statement. Stay in contact for updates!
In the meantime, please consider making a small (or large!) donation now.
Yours in service,
Our target is $1,500. Happily, $500 has already been donated to get the initiative off to a good start.
