Back to Rwanda I Go

For the past two and a half years, I have been partnering with the Vineyard Church in Rwanda to come alongside children in poverty to invest in their future through education, spiritual encouragement, and family support as they step into who God made them to be. Bana Munsange Ministries began in 2016 after the colliding of two individual's dreams to see children and families have access to their most basic human needs, beginning with education.

I've been leading this ministry alongside a spectacular team of Rwandan leaders in Rwanda. While I have been coordinating all aspects of the ministry here in the United States, it has been nearly a year and a half since I was last in Rwanda to see first hand the impact this ministry is having on the community. I am thrilled to finally be returning during the month of May 2019.

This trip will include working with the team in Rwanda to navigate how better to develop this ministry and continue to step into the ways God is calling us to love alongside the people of Rwanda. It will be spent visiting the children at school, church, and home as much as possible. It will also include meeting with the caregivers within the ministry.

Another aspect of the trip will be to develop more relationship with the churches from North America who partner with the Vineyard in Rwanda. I will be able to learn from and work with the leaders of this partnership who will also be visiting Rwanda during the month of May. That time will include a conference on Vineyard beliefs and values lead by the partners from Canada and the US. The last few days of the trip will be spent traveling to Kampala, Uganda with them and leaders from both Rwanda and Burundi to attend a gathering of Vineyard leaders from around East Africa.

I would love to ask you to prayerfully consider financially supporting my return to Rwanda. I am eager to return to my friends and family I feel I have been away from far too long and to hug those smiling children once more. I am also greatly looking forward to working more intentionally alongside other Vineyard leaders from around Canada, the US, and East Africa.
