"Back to my Roots" is a Documentary film about Philix, a high born from Tanzania living in Cape Town, South Africa on a spiritual task from the ancestors.
He was forced to leave his home and come to a foreign country as part of his initiation preparation of becoming a ruler for his people. This is one of the task a Royal blood needs to undergo.
After seven years living in South Africa he has successfully completed the tasks given to him by tribal leaders under the guidance of ancestors. The documentary will portray his life in Cape Town, how he lived among common people, all his experiences, trials and tribulations. The highlight of the film will be when Philix finally goes home after seven years and we get to share this emotional experience with him. We'll be documenting his anticipated arrival in Tanzania by his village people. This will consist of much celebration and joy all around.
Like many who choose to serve others rather then themselves, at the end of every week Philix gives away his earns to help others survive the tough streets of Cape Town.
He is a kind hearted, free spirited human being that puts other's needs before his at all costs. He has been a servant to all and now it's time that we help him get back home.
