Hi everyone!

I am reaching to you for your support to help cover medical expenses for a back procedure that I am pretty sure will fix 100% of my back pain. All the details of the injury as well as the procedure are listed below in the my story section. Unfortunately, this procedure is not covered by medical insurance that's why I am reaching out to you. All the help and support you can provide will be a blessing and I will be always grateful for your contribution. Thank you for your generosity.

My Story:

My name is James McAnally, I’m 39 years old and I’m an active guy with a great love for the outdoors. One of my fondest aspirations is to someday hike the 211 mile long John Muir trail in California.

For a little over 4 years, I have been suffering from excruciating sciatica back pain due to annular tears in several in the intervertebral discs that function as cushions or shock-absorbers in my lower back. These disc tears have caused the thick inner gel, called the nucleus pulposus to leak out. When this happens, the body perceives this gel as a foreign substance, causing inflammation within the disc and the spinal nerves causing the sciatica and lower back pain I am experiencing. It’s been hard to stay focused and think clearly because of this back pain. It has been depressing to not be able to do the things I want to do. Thankfully in the past peak levels of pain usually subside within a week or two…. But as of late the pain is becoming increasingly more debilitating getting more intense and lasting longer severely limiting my mobility as well as ceasing up other back muscles creating occasional back spasms making my quality of life miserable. The affected discs have become dangerously thin, degrading at an accelerated pace down to only 20% of their normal healthy height. I really don’t want to spend the rest of my life in pain, in a wheelchair, in bed all the time or with screws in my back from a spinal fusion. Because of this there is now a high level of urgency to repair and heal my discs as soon as possible.

The next step, is to get a procedure where Fibrin is injected into the disc tears, reinflating the intervertebral discs, swelling them back to their normal healthy height. Fibrin is a naturally occurring biological glue that seals the tears and cracks so the inner gel of the disc no longer leaks out. This highly effective procedure is the long-term solution I need to fix this problem to completely heal my back issues.

As melodramatic as it may sound this will be a new lease on life for me. I’ll come out the other side of this procedure a new man, I can be a happy person again feeling like I have been given my life back. Everyday appreciating life waking up with energy and happiness knowing I’ll be able to engage in the activities that I want to be a part of like going outside for a long run which I haven’t been able to do in a long time. And as a special thank you if decide to contribute I promise that I will make you your own personal thank you video while I am hiking the John Muir trail.

Thank you for reading and thank you for your generosity.

I'd truly appreciate it if you can share this link in your social media.

Stay blessed my friends

Sincerely,

James

P.S. Your good deed will have a ripple effect, I will be sure to pay it forward in the future to others in need that I cross paths with, because that’s the right thing to do. I have attached a screen shot of a donation I gave in 2017 to a paralyzed man I never met just to show you that I’m a giver as well as being a receiver.
