BABY THOMAS Born 03/01/14 Due 12/4/2014 Hi our names our tanya and neil and we're here to tell you abit about our baby Thomas he is our little fighter and he's really strong and brave he also came 3 and half months to early after tanya  pregnancy went wrong when she went into labour all we could think was it's to early but there was nothing they could do to stop it he was born weighing 1lb 4oz he was so tiny due to being born at 25weeks+6 days he was born with some problems he couldn't breath by himself so had to be ventilated he had 12 blood transfusions in the first few months on  the 17/03/2014 he had a pda ligation done witch was his first op  at 37weeks if I was still pregnant but 3 months old on the 26/03/2014 he had to have eye lazer surgery that went well.a month or so later he was moved closer home he was making really good progress he was taking of the ventilation and put on cpap with extra oxygen he was doing really well till one day he was going for his eye check at the other hospital they tried to put the ventilation tube down his mouth that he didn't cope and we nearly lost him he went to a different hospital again and was stabilised he had a ent doctor look down his throat witch found that baby Thomas air ways was to narrow he had to have a trackystomy so the next day he was prepped for the theater table for the second time this one longer then the last Three hours later he came back to the ward with his new trackystomy tube in his little kneak it killed us to see him like that but it has saved his life after it was done he did seem to get better but then something new come up his sats was dropping really bad his oxygen was going down to 40 he would go really grey in colour some times it stopped his heart witch ended up with nursers needing to do cpr but it always worked it's turns out his eipsiods was down to real bad gas reflux he just had a foundo op do witch means he had a massive gut op he also had a peg tube put in to his belly so we can give him milk and his meds witch means op number 3  in 8 months from birth it went really well he is now due to come home with sat monitors oxygen tanks suction machines we need to move and buy special equipment for Thomas and we are asking for your help as we are stuck in a situation at the moment because while everything was going on we have 3 children as well too get to school and back in time to pick them up which we could not afford and we had to use r rent money to pay for taxis which caused a problem for us as we r in arrears and can't pay we r on the council list but in category f because of the arrears and we need to find a 4 bedroom house before he comes home which is not long so a friend suggested that we go on here as it's r only help we do have a social worker involved but there's only so much they can do and there only concern is that Thomas is safe and not about are housing problem which she said that if we don't find a property then odopion will be the next step which is a no go after all this and she tells us that. That's just wrong we love r son so much so plz if you can help us in any way we will be very grateful. Neil and tanya
