Help Save Baby Sierra

Dear family and friends

One of our dearest family friends are going through a terribly trying time and in great need of support. Their four month old baby girl "Sierra" has been diagnosed with a rare liver disease called Biliary Atresia which has progressed into advanced stages of Cirrhosis. There unfortunately is no cure for this disease and she urgently requires a liver transplant to ensure her survival.

We plead with everyone to open their hearts and donate to help the parents of baby Sierra raise sufficient funds for the surgery she so desperately needs. The family are currently in the process of getting all testing and documentation done to get her placed on the transplant list. The transplant will be performed at the "Donald Gordon Private Hospital", the only hospital in South Africa currently doing living donor transplants. Sadly this family does not have medical aid and also has been told to make provision to relocate to Johannesburg for 6 months post transplant care.

I am sure all can understand the tremendous amount of stress and pressure they are under right now, fighting to save their daughters life.
