Baby saffi’s battle- Trisomy 18

Good day!

I'm Jesica S. Singson,25 years old my baby's name is Aria Saffi S. Gelua born on December 30,2017. At birth she was admitted at NICU because of pneumonia and fast heart beat.Not long after giving birth the doctor see something different to her and requested us to do a choromosomial analysis or karyotyping , baby Saffi was diagnosed with Edward's Syndrome or Trisomy18, it is a rare but serious genetic condition that causes a wide range of severe medical problems . Aside from that baby Saffi unfortunately also has Peter's anomaly (congenital cataract), congenital heart disease, pneumonia and recently diagnosed with liver enlargement. It is very devastating on both of our part as a parents to see our little warrior endure needle after needle while undergoing several tests day in, day out. We are also going in and out of the hospital since baby Saffi was born to monitor her condition and run series of laboratories and tests. Recently she was admitted at PICU and discharged after 9 days due to pneumonia. She is in our home and depending on a oxygen tank. With this, everyone in our circle of friends and families are trying to do what we can to contribute in generating funds to help us to support her increasing medical needs and we're very hopeful to be able to do this in the soonest possible time because the seriousness of baby Saffi's condition is quite terminal that we cannot bear wasting any moment. At this point our family and friends are still hopeful for a miracle to happen and seeking God's help through little angels like everyone here to extend a little help in making this journey financially bearable for the family.
