Baby Renz

Renz Mharo Plaga, 4 months old, male, was diagnosed case of congenital heart disease acyanotic, ventricular septal defect 1.5cm presenting with frequent respiratory tract infection and poor weight gain.

His pertinent physical examination finding : weight 10kg O2 sat 98% adynamic precordium, distinct heart sounds, normal rate regular rhythm (+) grade 3/6 HSM LPSB.

Plan for his condition is for him to undergo open heart surgery under cardiopulmonary bypass ( VSD patch closure).
