My nephew, Mika, was born on the 1st December 2019.

My brother and sister in law (thai), had been anticipating his arrival with excitement long before he was due. Things took a turn when Mika was born bluish and gasping for air.

Doctors did their best to diagnose what was wrong with him, initially thinking it was a lung infection. Unfortunately, his condition did not improve after a tube was inserted and further tests were done to determine his condition.

Mika is just a few hours old, and he suffers from TAPVR, a birth defect condition which prevents his oxygenated blood to return to his left heart atrium.

The quoted cost of his surgery is 2mil and after which he is required to spend 2 weeks in ICU (200,000baht/night), this is far beyond our means. Doctors said that with the surgery, his survival will be up to 90%, but without it he will not survive.

Please help Mika to have a chance at life. I really hope for him to come home with us, and to be there to see him learn to walk, talk, and even go to school. Every bit of help we can get is very much appreciated.
