Baby Khael

Hi,

Good Day! I am Zairus Malvar from Mandaluyong, Philippines. We decided to create this fund raising campaign for our 30 weeker pre mature son's hospitalization fees. He is currently at Special Care Unit here in Mandaluyong City for more than 2 weeks already.

Baby Khael's Story:

Baby Khael Zachary Malvar, our first baby, was born last August 19, 2019 at 10:05pm and was only 30 weeks and 3 days gestation (12 weeks earlier than his actual due date). He only got weighed of 1.1kg.

On August 19, 2019, at exactly 30 weeks gestation, my wife had an appointment/scheduled checkup with her OBGyn and during the examination she noticed that my wife is already experiencing some contractions which we thought was normal. She was admitted and monitored in the hospital to prolong the stay of baby inside her tummy. Unfortunately, our baby's heart rate keeps dropping hence they decided to have an emegency Caesarean Section on the evening of the same date.

Baby Khael had to be incubated and installed a mechanical ventilator to support his breathing. He was diagnosed with pneumonia and apnea. Orogastric tube was also used for his feeding.

My wife and I are currently working on a private company but our living wage is just fair and health insurance doesn't cover any part of the hospitalization bill for our baby. We have consumed all of our savings and now struggling paying for hospitalization fees.

We have seen Baby Khael Zachary fighting and winning every single day and as parents, we want to stay with him in his battle. We are hoping for generous hearts that could extend prayers and financial assistance to our family as we go through this phase.
