My battle with Endometriosis started at the age of 19 with my first surgery, which in turn has led to our battle with infertility.  When I was 24, about a year after getting married and under going my second surgery, we tried getting pregnant the old fashioned way. After a year with no success, we went to one of the top fertility doctor’s in New York.  All the tests were done and nothing was noticeably wrong, with the exception of my endometriosis.  I was put on fertility drugs and monitored; this protocol continued, in six month intervals, for the next two years.  After the ups and downs, and years without success...our marriage wasn’t a marriage anymore and we divorced.

A few years later Larry walked into my life and I thought; this is why it didn’t happen before! Larry and I have been together for six years and married a little over four of those years.  He’s my rock and I am his...and since the journey for our baby hasn’t been successful yet...rocks are important in this family!  We have tried the old fashioned way, we’ve been down the fertility path, and now ten years from the first time I started trying for a baby, we have arrived at the next road of our journey…IVF.
