We are so very sorry for your loss. Our daughter, Caroline, gave birth in Jan 2013 to a son who required heart surgery. She heard Hattie's story and asked us to contribute to her fund in lieu of buying her a birthday gift. She, her husband, and the rest of our family know the stress of having a sick child, and how difficult and long the road of grief and healing can be, as they lost their infant daughter two years ago. Caroline's message to you would be one of hope and God's faithfulness. It has been an honor and a privilege to pray for your family and we will continue to do so. May the Lord cover you all in His love and grace until your sweet Hattie is in your arms again!

Love you guys and will continue to pray for your healing and comfort. I have been blessed by your courage and faith.
Hattie is in the Lord's arms today.
Update posted by browns92 at 03:18 pmHattie passed away into the Lord's arms at 4:45 est. this morning. She went peacefully and is now enjoying a new body that is not broken. Hattie's life had a tremendous impact on the world. What a gift she has left us. She taught me to be the hands and. . . . .
Hattie is having a very crucial day
Update posted by browns92 at 09:06 amThey are weaning her off some of her medication because she has to regulate her body. The doctors are meeting to decide how to go about that. This is critical because she is having a hard time regulating herself but she can't stay on the medication indefinately as it starts
Hattie is stable after cardiac arrest
Update posted by browns92 at 03:08 pmHattie went into cardiac arrest suddenly last night. They eventually got her stablized. They are testing her to see if she has an infection in her body. Obviously, things aren't quite heading in the right direction. The next 72 hours will be crucial to her outcome. She has already touched
Hattie is having the picc line inserted today.
Update posted by browns92 at 10:19 amHer night wasn't the best. Her bp and heart rate become erratic when she moves. It requires a lot of intervention when this happens. She is not able to get rid of all the fluid herself so they are hoping with the picc line they can administer medicine that will
Update: The. procedure has been delayed.
Update posted by browns92 at 12:19 pmAnother patient needed surgery today so the picc procedure will probably be done tomorrow.

keep praying for baby Hattie
Update posted by browns92 at 02:08 pmI just want to emphasize that Hattie is still critically stable. She has a very long road and she is very ill . But she is starting to accumulate small improvements. Keep praying for her! Thank you to everyone.
Hattie had a good night.
Update posted by browns92 at 10:39 amHattie stayed stable through the night. They are going to try to wean her off some of thr medicine. She is breathing 20% on her own and her kidneys have started to function normally so she is getting rid of some of the fluid on her own.
Hattie is having an uphill climb.
Update posted by browns92 at 03:04 pmHattie is not where the doctors would like her to be right now. She has not been able to breathe on her own without the help of a machine. As far as I know, they are going to keep on the machine again today and not try to wean her
Hattie is done with surgery
Update posted by browns92 at 03:09 pmShe is recovering from her surgery right now. The critical part now is keep her pulmonary veins open for the blood to flow through. There is a chance that they could scar which would be a bad scenario. All we can do is pray they stay open!
