Campaign Story
Baby Gabby needs your help For the past couple of years Darrel Roberts and Hester Foxcroft from Krugersdorp have opened their hearts, home and wallets to the less fortune and those who battle with drug addiction. This has been a special calling for the couple who are the driving force behind the Krugersdorp War Against Drugs initiative. Any time day or night they are always available to assist with fighting this war in our community. NOW THEY NEED OUR HELP About three weeks ago the couple’s 9 month old baby girl Gabby fell terribly ill. They went from one doctor to the next until they were faced with the devastating news, little Gabby has suffered liver failure. By God’s grace little Gabby found a liver donor. Her half-sister, Samantha was luckily a match and again with the grace of God within hours the liver transplant took place. Gabby and her half sister are both ok and currently recovering in hospital. However, Darrel and Hester are taking strain, emotionally and financially. Darrel works for himself and has been up and down between doctors and hospital visits and has not been able to work the past couple of weeks. They also don’t have a medical aid. This is where you come in. The family has overcome great hardship the past few weeks but will need our help to get through this personal storm in their lives. If each of us can spare R10, we can all contribute to raise funds to help get these two superheroes back on their feet. It might not sound like a lot but a little goes a long way. Plese don’t forget also say a little prayer for this miracle baby and God’s grace.
