Baby Chloe’s Medical Fund

This account was created for Baby Chloe Gementiza. She was born last May 13, 2017 thru an emergency CS delivery but had to undergo two (2) operations. She was diagnosed with Myelomeningocele (spinal problem) and hydrocephalus. Having these two combined becomes chiari malformation.

Chiari malformations are usually caused by structural defects in the brain and spinal cord. These defects develop during fetal development.

Doctor said that Baby Chloe may not be able to walk and it would be a bonus if she could move her legs. Her ventricular shunt, or drain will also have to stay with her to relieve excess pressure.

Last June 13, Baby Chloe underwent VUD (VideoUroDynamic) Test today. Her Urologist, Dr. David Bolong told them that baby Chloe has neurogenic bladder dysfunction (overactive bladder) and needs to undergo another major operation (vesicostomy) - a surgical opening in the bladder to the outside of the body (lower belly) that allows urine to drain, preventing urinary tract infection or damage to the kidneys. It was the only option left and it has to be done ASAP.

They haven't recovered yet (financially) from the first 2 operations. So, we humbly ask any assistance that could help them raise enough money to proceed with the operation.
