Hi I am here to ask for help for newborn baby girl Addie Ann and her parents, Madalynne and Nathan. I am her mommy's Aunt Kimmie. Her mother Madalynne had her two days ago. She is critically ill and staying at one of the best hospitals in the country in Los Angeles. Her sister Kenzie is staying with Grandma and patiently waiting for her new sister to come home to be with her. It is likely Addie will be in the hospital for months which is very difficult for ther family. We need to help Madalynne immediately as she is just discharged and figuring out how she is going to afford everything.

Addie Ann has a problem where her diaphragm is not formed right and her intestines and other organs are crowding her lungs and heart. She has been upgraded from NICU to PICU which is the most intensive care you can get for such a tiny little . Addie is currently on a machine that will help oxygenate her blood and give her lungs a break so they can get stronger before she has a surgery to correct the problem. She has already had blood transfusions from family members and she is in a critical state. Doctors are working to get her oxygen levels up and keep her stable until they can perform a corrective surgery.

While her young new dad Nathan has to work at home over an hour away, her mom has to stay without a car at Ronald Mc Donald house. She has to pay for food, taxis (about a 45 minute drive) to the hospital, and any other neccessities while Addie is hospitalized. I hope to transfer any donations to Madalynne so that she can afford all the expense of this difficult time and that there will be enough left over to help her with copays and to offset some of her medical bills upcoming.

Here is an exerpt from Madalynne's facebook:

This is so weird for me not being able to hold you and tend to you . Not being able to change your little diapers or run to you when you cry, my mommy instincts are rushing through me and it hurts because I can't satisfy it. ️ I have to sit there and hush you through a tiny little window hoping you know I'm your mommy everyone else is in charge of you :( I can't wait til you're better baby girl

Everyone we really need prayers for Addie right now , she's not looking too good .

Addie has had a rough start to life . She's endured a lot worse than I have ever . Today her O2 levels went down to the 50s and wouldn't go back up over 85 so they had to transfer her from NICU to PICU because this is the only place that will do an ECMO and she could have her own room. She's very sensitive to light, touch, and sound. Her stomach and intestines are up in her chest cavity making it very difficult for her lungs . An ecmo machine basically gives her lungs a break and oxygenates her blood for her so her lungs can repair and grow strong enough for her repair surgery (the tubes by her head go into her artery ,putting all her blood into the machine behind her and then back into the artery) she also got a blood transfusion , plasma and she was receiving a paralyzingly sedative but now is on a regular sedative and can move and lots of pain meds . She's stable right now and she will decide when to come off the machine . Please keep her in prayers , ecmo is the last option in CDH babies.

Addie is still in critical condition but well enough to meet her big sister ! She got to hold her little fingers and talk to her and Addie wiggled her little toes and kicked her feet . Addie is also doing a lot better from last night , not out of the storm but stable and way better than last night keep praying for our baby ! It's working we also got her baptized before her surgery last night Addie Ann is so strong and such a fighter !!! #cdhawareness #CDHWARRIOR they love each other so much already

Our family and friends remain in constant prayer for Addie Ann, that all her medical treatment will be a success and that we can give her family the support they need to over come this medical treatment and get Addie Ann home to be part of her beautiful young family. Prayers are appreciated for Addie Ann's health.

Donations can be made via gofundme to help cover medical and other expenses. We are thankful for any donation it means the world to us and it will be used to assist Madalynne's young family with all their medical related expenses, travel and bills.

I hope you will help so Maddie and Nathan are not
drowning in the huge medical bills that are coming.

Even the smallest donation is a huge help to her success in getting to the hospital everyday.

Thank you!
