Baan Luuk Rak translates to "Home of the Beloved Children", this name was tenderly given to a home for children established in the Year 2000 by Kru Ya & Khun Noi (Husband & Wife). Not just any home, but one designated for those children orphaned or abandoned, fleeing poverty and or abuse.

Baan Luuk Rak is located in the North-Eastern region of Thailand in the city of Khon Kaen.

Since then the home has been providing children with love and support in an integrated approach offering not only food and shelter but an education with home schooling with a much needed emphasis on living skills in preparation for their future. Unfortunately founder Khun Noi passed away in 2016 leaving her husband to carry on moving forward supported by a small group of dedicated staff.

Baan Luuk Rak operates solely on donations and with 40+ children that reside at Baan Luk Rak at any one time, expenses are ever ending including necessary repairs and renovations.

We have had the blessed opportunity to share time with some of these amazing children, both Nulek & myself (Adam) can attest that Baan Luuk Rak truly is a special place that was motivated by love and this is clearly conveyed and shared among the children, its founder Kru Ya and staff.

Baan Luuk Rak graciously and humbly receive any donation great or small in support of their "Home of the Beloved Children" and we are hoping to raise our target in order to keep necessary essentials available for all the children during these worrying times.
